2008년 제이슨 므라즈의 Mr. A-Z 앨범 수록곡이다.
'벨라'는 이태리어로 '아름다운' 이라는 뜻이고, 루나는 라틴어로 달이나 달의 여신을 말한다. 그리스 신화의 셀레나와 같다. 번역은 그냥 '벨라 루나'라고 했다.
달을 묘사하는 여러 개의 표현들이 나온다. '하늘의 구멍, 한 쪽을 감은 눈, 대리석 강아지'등이다. 번역을 못해서 인지 별로 감흥은 없는데 음악은 아름답다.

제이슨 므라즈의 다른 곡들과는 달리 재즈풍의 곡이다.
