'Cars Hiss by My Window'는 몇 개 남지 않은 짐의 베니스 시절의 공책에 있는 시에서 가져왔다. 책 '여기서는 아무도 살아나가지 못한다' (p330)에는 이 노래가 불길하다고 적혀 있다. '창문들이 충격파와 더불어 떨기 시작한다. 어느 냉정한 소녀가 어두운 방에서 널 죽이리라'라는 부분 때문이다.
