영화 '도어즈'에서 나온 것 처럼 LA에 있는 베니스 해변에서 레이는 빈둥거리는 짐을 만나 요즘 뭐하냐고 물었고, 짐이 노래를 끄적이고 있다고 했더니 하나 불러보라고 한다. 그때 짐이 부른 노래다. 그룹 도어즈가 만들어지게 된 결정적인 곡이다.
